General Information about Data Processing
We generally only collect and use personal data of our users to the extent necessary for providing a functioning website as well as our content and services. The collection and use of personal data of our users only takes place with the user’s consent. This is not the case if obtaining prior consent is not possible for factual reasons and the processing is permitted by legal provisions. If consent is obtained, Article 6(1)(a) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is applicable as the legal basis. If the processing of personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. Article 6(1)(d) of the GDPR is applicable as the legal basis if it is necessary to protect the vital interests of the data subject or another natural person. On the other hand, Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR applies if the processing of personal data is necessary to safeguard the legitimate interests of the practice or third parties and this outweighs the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject. Personal data is deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies. Further storage may occur if provided for by the European or national legislator in Union regulations, laws or other provisions to which the responsible party is subject. In this case, too, the data will be deleted or blocked once a storage period prescribed for this purpose has expired, unless there is a necessity for further storage of the data for the conclusion or fulfillment of a contract.
Log Files
Log files:
When you access our website, our system automatically collects information and data that your browser automatically sends to us. These are the following data:
- Information about browser type and browser version
- User’s operating system
- Internet service provider of the user
- Date and time of the server request
- Websites from which the user’s system accesses our website
- Websites accessed by the user’s system through our website
The data is also stored in the log files of our system. No storage of this data together with other personal data of the user takes place.
The legal basis for the temporary storage of the data (and the log files) is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary for the purpose of its collection, i.e. to enable delivery of the website to the user’s computer.
The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of data in log files is essential for the operation and use of the website. Therefore, there is no possibility of objection on the part of the user.
Cookies
Our website uses so-called cookies in some cases. Cookies do not harm the user’s computer and do not contain viruses. They serve to make our offer more user-friendly and secure. Cookies are text files that are stored on the user’s computer and saved by the browser. These cookies allow us to recognize the browser on the next visit. Each user can set their browser to inform them about the setting of cookies and to allow cookies only in individual cases, to exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and to activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted. The legal basis for the processing of personal data using technically necessary cookies is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Contact Form and Email Contact
If you contact us via the contact form, your information from the inquiry form, including the contact details provided by you, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the request and in case of follow-up questions. By using the contact form, you expressly agree to this processing. We do not share this data without your consent. The data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer necessary to achieve the purpose of their collection. This is the case when it is evident from all circumstances that the relevant matter has been conclusively clarified. The legal basis for the processing of the data is Art. 6 (1)(a), (b), and (f) GDPR because you have consented to the processing of the data.
If you contact us by email, the personal data of the user transmitted with the email will be stored. In this context, there is also no disclosure to third parties. The data is used exclusively within the scope of the conversation.
You have the option to revoke your consent to the processing of the collected personal data at any time. To do so, please contact the address provided in the imprint. In such a case, the conversation cannot be continued.
SSL-Encoding:
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as the requests you send to us as the website operator via the contact form, this page uses SSL encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line. When SSL encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Right to Information, Correction, Deletion etc.
You have the so-called data subject rights, which means rights that you can exercise as an individual affected in a particular case. You can assert these rights against the hospital operator. These rights arise from the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which also applies in Germany. These rights include the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, objection to processing and the right to complain to a supervisory authority.
Complaint to the Supervisory Authority for Violations of Data Protection
Although you are also free to seek judicial assistance, you have the right to complain to a supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your data is not legally permissible under data protection law.
